Ntandazo holds an impressive academic pedigree, boasting a Bachelor of Nursing degree from the esteemed University of Transkei, complemented by a Masters of Public Health from Walter Sisulu University. He further fortified his expertise with an Advanced Diploma in District Health from the University of Fort Hare and an Honors in Nursing Education from the University of Kwazulu-Natal.
His thirst for knowledge culminated in the recent attainment of a Doctorate in Health Sciences, scheduled for official graduation in May 2024.

Benjamin B. Benjamin has received his MD, PhD in pathophysiology and MMed in Internal Medicine
from the Bukarest Medical Institute (Romania), MSc in Cardiology and PhD in Cardiology at the Free
University of Brussels (Belgium).
He is a former Fulbright Scholar and visiting Professor in Clinical Pharmacology/Hypertension at the
Institute of Lipid research, Baylor College of medicine, Houston (USA). He served for 30 years as chief of
cardiology, Executive Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Deputy Vice-Chancellor at the University of
Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo.
He is a member of 30 scientific societies, including: American Heart Association, American Diabetes
Association, and American College of Cardiology, European
Society of Cardiology and Pan-African society of Cardiology.
With almost thirty years’ teaching experience at tertiary level, I am a university chemistry instructor
passionate about developing young people to attain their full potential as responsible scientists who
will contribute towards the economic transformation of their society in a positive way. As an organic
chemist my interest lies in synthetic organic chemistry and medicinal chemistry;
I have published
research papers in general chemical methodology and few papers in medicinal chemistry and drug
discovery, more specifically in malaria and schistosomiasis. With encouraging results already obtained,
it is my wish to continue and expand in this area and train young African scientists in drug development
and discovery.
